I began running a bookkeeping business out of my home part-time in 1986. While working at Bank of Boston’s newly established private banking division, I saw that some of our clients would benefit from a more hands-on approach to managing their personal finances, which I was able to offer them.

As a full-time owner-operator since 1988, I have provided bookkeeping services to more than one hundred clients, located primarily in the Boston area but stretching from California to Spain. I have worked with individuals, small businesses, condominium associations, nonprofits, and family trusts.

Combined, my team has over a century of banking and bookkeeping experience, with expertise in accounts payable and receivable, payroll tax filings, budget forecasting and tracking, and the administration of trusts and rental properties.

After thirty-five years, Diane Denty and Company remains an independent, boutique enterprise, with a client base that has grown organically by referrals and recommendations. We have never had to advertise and are selective about the people we choose to work with.
